Aims and Scope

African Journal of Gender and Women Studies ISSN 2516-9831 is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary open access journal that is concern with the study of gender and its intersection with identity, including race, social inequality, sexuality, class, location, disability, ethnicity and nationality.  

The journal welcomes papers that explore the intersectionality of gender and women studies within the framework of such fields like literature, language, geography, history, political science, sociology, anthropology, cinema, media studies, human development, law, and medicine.
