A case of hypothyroid puzzle

The most common cause of failure of thyroid replacement therapy is poor patient compliance. However, causes of malabsorption should be kept in mind. We report a case of a young male who had congenital hypothyroidism since infancy with difficulty achieving euthyroid state despite being on an exceedingly high levothyroxine dose.
