Aims and scope

African Journal of Crop Science publishes original research papers dealing with all aspects of crop science, agronomy, crop production, genetics and breeding, germplasm, crop protection, post harvest systems and utilization, agro-forestry, crop-animal interactions, information science, environmental science and soil science. It also publishes authoritative reviews on crop science and environmental issues. 

The aims of this journal is to foster and promote the study of crops in all its facets, thus creating opportunities for the free exchange of ideas on crop science and related fields.

AJCS is committed to acquiring, integrating and sharing basic and applied knowledge about field crops and cropping systems in an ever-changing world
