Aims and Scope

African Journal of Internal Medicine ISSN 2326-7283 is a peer-reviewed, open access medical journal covering all aspects of medical sciences dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of internal diseases. The journal publishes original articles, reviews, editorials, short communications and other information relevant to internal medicine and related fields.

Aims and Scope

  • To encourage the science and practice of internal medicine all over the world.
  • To encourage improved patient care, research, and education in primary care, general internal medicine, and hospital medicine.
  • To publish exciting research on topics such as clinical medicine, epidemiology, prevention, health care delivery, curriculum development, and numerous other non-traditional themes, in addition to classic clinical research on problems in internal medicine.
  • To promote excellence in medicine, enable physicians and other health care professionals to be well informed members of the medical community and society, advance standards in the conduct and reporting of medical research, and contribute to improving the health of people worldwide. 
  • To publish a wide variety of original research, review articles, practice guidelines, and commentary relevant to clinical practice, health care delivery, public health, health care policy, medical education, ethics, and research methodology etc.
