Aims and scope

International Journal of Enology and Viticulture ISSN 3426-7212 is a peer-reviewed, open access journal devoted to the publication of scientific research on all aspects of winemaking and grapegrowing.

The journal is dedicated to promoting the interests of enologists, viticulturists, and others in the fields of wine and grape research and production throughout the world. IJEV publishes the results of recent research on all aspects of viticulture, oenology and the international wine trade. It aims to enhance and encourage scholarly and scientific interdisciplinary research in these fields.

It also aims to consider articles dealing with the science, production, and study of grapes, wine and winemaking, vine-growing, grape-harvesting, wine elaboration, human interaction with wine, health aspects of wine, control of pests and diseases, fertilizing, irrigation, canopy management, monitoring fruit development, characteristics, harvesting, vine pruning as well as series of events that occur in the vineyard.

IJEV provides complete and full coverage across business disciplines, on all issues related to managing wine-related businesses, and including other alcoholic beverages, such as beer and spirits. The journal provides a mechanism for the exchange of information within the broadly defined fields of wine business, marketing, consumer behaviour, wine tourism and management.
