Editorial Note

I am joyful to announce that the African Journal of Gender and Women Studies is a journal and that gave me opportunity to bring forward the achievements of the journal in the year 2021. As we know that AJGWS is the newly coined journal, it is under development and growing fast to be indexed by various indexing agencies. The full issue was published by AJGWS at the time and the preprints were also dispatched and released online within 30 days after the article was published online. AJGWS accept all types of articles, including Research papers, case studies, review papers, brief commentaries, mini analysis etc. on gender.

African Journal of Gender and Women Studies is an open- access Peer-Reviewed journal that seeks to publish the latest and excellent research papers, reviews and letters in all fields related to the subjects of gender. The scientific validity and merit of submissions will be evaluated.

Researchers from all over the world are invited to submit novel research and thoughts to the publication. We believe that by publishing in this magazine, academics will have a suitable platform to demonstrate the importance of their research effort. I take this to show my gratitude to thank ISJ group of publications for its mission in making the journey to take this on-line publication of the journal to a global audience.

Community to contribute original research to ensure the journal’s future success. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of AJGWS, for their support in bringing out yet another volume of African journal of gender and women studies and look forward to their unrelenting support. We know how much time they contribute and seek to give the effort that goes into writing a good peer review, and we deeply value the input of reviewers who volunteer their time and expertise to provide good resources with necessary feedback that ensures the high quality of research published in each issue of the journal. We thank our peer reviewers for taking the time and effort to provide thoughtful feedback, and we endeavour to express our gratitude to them. Every year, we send letters thanking our top reviewers for their contributions.

African Journal of Gender and women studies is a fineness quality journal devoted to the management of time and completes all the work on writing any article in a given period of time. Because each piece must be published online within 45 days of receipt, the total time frame is 45 days. For numerous processes like as quality control, peer review, and article processing, it takes 4 to 5 weeks to publish. Within 14 days, quality checks and peer review processes are completed, and the article is published within 7 days after reviewers and editors accepting the paper.

Finally, I would like to welcome you, our readers to this promising new journal of AJGWS. Hope you will find pleasant reading and also challenging ideas from this journal. Happy and pleasant reading.
