Action research in reflective EFL teaching

Reflective practice is “the persistent and careful consideration of any belief or supposed form of knowledge in the light of the ground that support it and the figure condition to which it tends”. As teachers, we need to know what is actually happening in our classroom, what learners are thinking and so on. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the proce sse s and procedure s of conducting action research as a particular way of looking at our practice in 12 classroom s. It also examines some of the procedure s of data collection which plays a crucial role in action research. This paper show s how action research can be conducted by teachers in any context regardless of their state or position
